Alison brings over 20 years experience in both corporate and consulting roles,  focusing   on organization development, cultural change, communication, coaching and motivation, and performance management for companies  in a wide variety of industries, including high tech, telecommunications, consumer  products, manufacturing and commercial services.  Her clients include new business start-ups, and those companies experiencing change as a result of rapid growth, mergers, acquisitions and turnarounds.  One thing is abundantly clear, regardless of industry or business plan:  to succeed you need engaged, committed and motivated employees who have the necessary tools to achieve results through high performance.

• As Vice President of Human Resources, Alison developed, introduced and successfully rolled-out a company-wide Performance Management program, including training and support for managers;
• Implemented corporate training programs customized to target the needs of different organizational levels;
• Worked with a Board of Director group to implement a Leadership Development and Succession Planning initiative for Senior Executives
• Developed and rolled-out employee surveys and created cross-functional work teams to address priorities from the results;
• Coached all management levels on effective communication strategies, conflict resolution and team building

As an independent Human Resources consultant, Alison has worked with client companies on strategic planning, team building, coaching & development, and has designed communication tools for executives to roll-out corporate plans and initiatives.

Alison is passionate about supporting the relationship between business and education, and in her spare time, has volunteered with Junior Achievement and The Learning Partnership, working with students in the classroom about career options and skills-focused preparation for the world of work.
